Emmett Johns lives to draw and paint landscapes, abstracts and portraits. He is well–known for capturing the essence of the person in the portraits he has painted over the last 40 years. While continuously painting landscapes in both oils and pastels, he likes the spontaneity and freshness that lend themselves to the Wisconsin landscape.
