Nowhere in the Midwest are the arts more interwined with the life of a community than Door County and nowhere in Door County is the passion to connect the arts to the community greater than the Francis Hardy Center for the Arts. We are pleased to present the 2007 Visual Arts Guide so that we may connect you to the visual artists living and working in Door County. The guide will assist you as you meander through the county on a self-guided studio tour of working artists, musicians and writers of Door County!

2007 Art Studio Tours

Friday August 10, 2007, 10 AM - 5PM

Drive at your own pace on a self-guided tour of Door County visual artists who will be opening the doors of their studios from 10 AM to 5PM, with special demonstrations as well as discussions of their individual techniques and creative processes, providing an enlightening and intimate experience.  Many of the studios are only open to the public during this tour day.  Take advantage of this unique opportunity to visit with the artists, see where and how they produce their art, and take home a piece of their work that touches your soul.  In addition many tour artists will provide work or performance space to fellow Door County visual artists, writers, musicians, and performers who do not have an accessible studio.
