The
Enrichment Series
Held on the third Thursdays
of the month seasonally, the Enrichment Series consists of demonstrations,
performances, and hands-on workshops using a variety of different
art forms as tools to explore and develop creativity. Geared specifically
for adults, the series offers participants the opportunity to take
pleasure in using their imaginations and to awaken their inherent
creative powers. For the beginner or experienced, the Enrichment
Series offers easy introductions to a variety of interesting art
forms. Discover, relax and enjoy the arts with the Enrichment Series!
All programs are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

Local fiber artist Rosie
Dittmann will share her artistry with wool during a free public
demonstration at the Whitefish Bay Farm Gallery in rural Sturgeon
Bay. The felting demonstration will offer the public a rare chance
to see this accomplished artist at work as well as a glimpse into
the process and creation of one-of-a-kind articles featuring wool
from the farm's flock of white and naturally colored Corriedale
sheep.

Learn to master the exquisite
technique of mosaic - the art of decoration using small pieces of
colored glass, stone or other materials - under the creative guidance
of master gardener and stained glass artist extraordinaire Karin
Overbeck. She will demonstrate the techniques used in the creation
of interior and exterior mosaics and will assist participants in
developing the necessary skills to create their own gorgeous mosaics
- planters, birdbaths, benches and wall hangings. Discover the art
of mosaic-making, the sky's the limit!
