The hugely popular Community Mosaic Project is back! This outreach project/fundraiser was conceived by the not-for-profit organization in 2007 as a means to connect the local community and the visual arts. The display, hung concurrently with the Collection Invitational exhibit, consists of a large-scale mosaic that has been constructed of 300 individual 6-inch by 6-inch canvases, all crafted by community members, youth, professional and amateur artists of all skill levels and ages. Don’t miss your chance to purchase a piece of this year’s project — throughout the duration of the exhibit, the general public has the opportunity to purchase one of the 300 numbers at random for a nominal fee. All proceeds benefit the non-profit organization. For updates, details or participation information, please call (920) 854-2210 or visit thehardy.org. New this year is the

This exhibition has been organized to draw attention to the rapidly evolving world of photography. The exhibit will explore and contrast contemporary photographic processes, including traditional, digital and alternative methods, while also revealing the technical aspects leading to the creation of the work though written texts. Unlike most Francis Hardy Gallery exhibitions, in which a wide variety of media is displayed, this exhibit will concentrate exclusively works with photographic origins.
